How to Choose the Perfect Area Rug for your Dining Room

The dining room seems to be where all the entertaining happens. Whether it is for the immediate family, holiday dinners or intimate romantic dinners, the dining room is a special room.  When decorating your dining room, we often forget about the flooring and the area rug that goes under the table. Believe it or not, the perfect area rug can make your room feel casual or formal, just by changing the rug.  Here are tips for choosing the right one for your home.

Assess the size of your dining room: Your dining room size will dictate how large of an area rug you should use. Large dining rooms may need to utilize two or more area rugs based on multiple seating areas and tables.  For smaller dining rooms consider using one that is larger than your dining room table, but smaller than the perimeter of the room. For those that have hardwood flooring, a border of the contrasting resilient flooring makes a nice contrast.

What’s the shape of your dining room: While most would think a rectangular carpet should go in a rectangular room, there are often exceptions. Area rugs can take their cues from the space as well as the shape of the table that covers it. It is often a play on form and color when choosing the area rug. Decide what feels and looks right to you. Your dining room is your design preference and trends and design can be followed or broken!

Choose a pattern or not: In some dining rooms the area rug serves as a floor covering that feels good underfoot and is meant for function and not décor. While other dining rooms keep a simple table and chairs, and then have the area rug take command of the room.  If you choose the more bold approach, choose a few colors from the carpet and bring them into the wall color and fabrics of the room. This will unite the room and keep it from looking too busy for the eye.

Defining a space: If you have an open area dining room that shares a space with a living room or kitchen area, an area rug will help you define the dining room without using walls. Choose a rug that uses colors from adjoining spaces but still defines the space. Therefore a mixture of neutrals from the surrounding rooms with a punch of an accent color to match the  dining room chairs would be perfect.

Family lifestyle will help you decide: If you have a formal and casual dining space, you may be able to keep a formal area rug in the space where dropped food from kids will not be a problem. While if you live in a household that only has one dedicated dining room, choose area rugs with low pile and that can disguise stains.  A thick pile, white area rug may not suit your lifestyle with pets, kids, and heavy traffic!

Enhance your dining room with the addition of an area rug. From simple to bold, the colors and shape you choose are up to you and your home’s decorative style. If possible, buy your area rug when you buy your dining room table. This will help you when the color matching and decision time comes. If you buy separate, try to keep the dining room set and carpet neutral so it is not hard to match your hot pink dining room set!

House Searching

Recently, I have been actively looking for a house to buy, which means I am paying extra attention on property information, renovation, interior design, furniture and soft furnishing.

I seriously would love to have my house, but it seems like it has gotten too complicated and tedious to me, so much so that it is tiring.

Finding a good location is hard. Finding a affordable property at a good location is even harder. Finding a affordable good condition property at a good location is almost impossible.

After month of searching, I notice that a l0t of property are actually selling at a price that is higher than market price, which mean either I am willing to take out more money, or I give up on the house.

Anyway, I will be on leave this Friday for house searching at Kepong area. Wish me luck and hope that I can finally find a suitable house.

20 Things You Should Know Before Buying a New Mattress

People spend more time on their bed than on any other piece of furniture in their home. It is like a source of relief and comfort. A good night’s sleep has a refreshing and re-energizing effect. That’s why mattress selection is quite an important shopping exercise.  If you are planning to buy a new mattress, take the time to read up on several important things you should know before buying one.

1. Focus on comfort. The most important thing to consider is your own comfort level. Even if you buy the most expensive mattress, you won’t have the best sleeping experience of your life if you’re not comfortable on it. To find a mattress you’re comfortable with you need to consider several other factors, like the size, firmness and type of materials used in the mattress.

2. Don’t look for one mattress that is the best for everyone. Look for your own best mattress. Remember to look for a mattress that’s best for you, not the mattresses that the experts hail as the best ever on the market.

3. Find the right size for your needs. If you feel restricted by a narrow bed, then you need a more spacious double bed. A queen size may be a bit large for an individual person, but it’s great if you like the extra space. King-sized or California king mattresses are made for partners and for master bedrooms and offer plenty of space for couples.

4. Firmness labels are not accurate. When it comes to firmness, don’t believe the labels firm, medium firm, and extra firm. One brand’s extra firm may be equivalent to another brand’s medium firm option. You can’t trust these labels completely.

5. Test the mattress. This is why you should personally test the mattress first. Most mattress and bed shops will allow you to lie down on the mattress so you can test it.

6. Read consumer mattress reviews when buying online. This gives you a more practical idea of the popular mattresses currently available and allows you to narrow down the huge field of choices.

7. Firmer is not better. You need just enough firmness to properly support your spine and other parts of your body. But excess firmness can cause uncomfortable pressure points and prevent your spine from maintaining its natural curve while you sleep.

8. Softer is not better. Too much softness will sag under the middle area of the spine, which can cause poor posture and lead to back pain.

9. An adjustable air bed is a safe but expensive option. Since you can adjust the firmness and softness with a remote, you’re safer even without first testing the mattress.

10. Multi-zoned beds make good alternatives. If you find adjustable beds too expensive, you can go for mattresses with different support zones. Hunt for a mattress that is softer at the hips and shoulders, but firmer at the mid-spine area.

11. Decide on a budget and stick to it. The prices of mattresses vary greatly, so you need to set a price you are willing to pay and not go over that amount.
12. Don’t rush. Take your time and so you will make the right decision. The last thing you want to do is bring home a bad mattress and then go through all the hassles of returning it.

13. Consider all options. You can spend the time you have researching innerspring mattresses, air beds, waterbeds, memory foam, latex, and so on to find the best mattresses and the type which suits you best.

14. Metal coils are common, but not necessarily the best. Innerspring beds are prone to sagging and allergens, are noisy and have a bouncy effect some people find uncomfortable.
15. Memory foam is far from perfect. Despite all the hype, memory foam is not the ultimate choice. It tends to feel hot, expels an unpleasant chemical smell and is prone to body indentations.

16. Natural latex foam is better. Keep an eye out for natural latex if you do decide to go with this classic foam choice.

17. Waterbeds are not for everyone. Waterbeds can follow the body’s shape and feel cool, but some people also feel seasick and dizzy on them and they don’t always provide enough back support.
18. Hybrid beds are becoming more popular. If you want to get the benefits of the different types of mattresses, get hybrids like latex and memory foam combination, or an innerspring with memory foam top layer.

19. Brands have value. There are reasons why some brands are more well known than others. Look for trusted brands that have good quality products and good customer support.

20. Look for a good warranty. The warranty, of course, is the most important aspect of a mattress brand’s customer support system. The longer the warranty, the better.

Remember that you will spend more time on your bed than any other furniture item in your home. A small amount of time spent researching your mattress choices can pay huge dividends by contributing to your comfort and well being for years to come. These tips were provided to us by David Patrick from Mattress Wiz.

Rest Well, Live Well and Love More

Recreate a spa-like ambiance in your very own bathroom.

When you get back from a tough day at work the last thing that you would want to deal with is a dirty bathroom. Research has also shown that soaking in bathtubs does offer many health benefits, including stress relief, alleviation of sleeping problems, and also lower blood pressure. Immerse yourself in warm water calms internal organs and endocrine system as it stimulates nerves on the spinal cord. If you have never thought of it that way, start thinking. So the next best thing would be to go for a spa. Reality check guys – not everyone can afford spa. So why not recreate a spa-like ambiance.

There are ways that you can tackle the pressures of a weary day. Of course, if you do not have the space and fortune to include a private jacuzzi in your bathroom or not have a bath tub to soak in, there are simple gestures that will enable you to create the ambiance.

When you think of spa, what comes into you mind? You would think of dim lights, relaxing scent and subdued movement. But how can one bring all of these things into your confined space?

The Smell of Paradise

I am talking about aromas. These bottles of essential oils are your best friend when recreating a spa-like ambiance. Whenever you step into a spa you are first greeted in scent – you would not want your bathroom smelling like a landfill or even a fish market- so let the senses invigorate your mind. Scents such as lavender, rose, chamomile and cinnamon are great for your end-of-the-day tensions. It can be applied directly onto the skin before your step in to your tub for a warm soak. For those who are not so fortunate, a spa experience can  still be achieved be combining aromatherapy oils and dried flowers in an organza pouch. Tie this pouch on to your shower head and allow the warm water to pass through the pouch, as the scent would slowly engorge your bathroom. Make sure that the pouch completely covers the shower head for optimum result. Clearly, in every situation there is a solution.

Soft Lighting

Now that your sense of smell is addressed lets move on to your sight. There is nothing more relaxing than soft, warm glow. If your bathroom is fitted with a dimmer, just dim it down to the finest glow. For those who are not as fortunate, just switch our lights off and place aromatherapy candles in your bathroom.

Fine Tune

Roll up a couple of your towels and tuck them into a basket for a chic touch to the ordinary. Also, scatter rose petals on the floor and bath water. It’s the little things that bring up the mood for a luxurious ambiance. Instead of your used towels, get a classy dressing gown. Place lush greenery by placing a select number of potted plants. Creativity is key.

Art and imagery goes a long way to induce relaxing ambiance. Guess why there is always a picture or painting of some sort in spas and also five star hotels. The tip would be to choose scenes of nature, the seaside or animals to recreate that ambiance.

10 Home Staging Tricks to Help Your Home Sell Quicker

Not that I am going to sell any house now, but in case I do in future, I think this article will be really helpful, which is why I put this here now. For my easy reference in future. XD

Home staging combines the ability to “stage” your home so that it is visually and aesthetically appealing to a home buyer.  If you’re in the process, or thinking of selling your home, there are several staging tricks that professionals use. It is a proven fact that homes that are staged will sell quicker than those that are not. Follow these 10 home staging tricks and get confident that your home will sell in no time at all!

1.) Create curb appeal: Before buyers set foot in your home, they will first see the exterior of your home.  Keep the lawn, landscaping, driveway and walkways neatly manicured. Ensure the front entry and front door are inviting, and consider placing flowers and a fresh door mat to welcome in perspective buyers. Many home owners will hire a yard service while their home is on the market to keep it looking great at all times.

2.) Purge: If you don’t immediately need it then throw it away, donate, sell or pack it up.  Your home needs to have the minimum amount of furnishings and belongings as possible, but still look livable.  Since you are moving in the near future, how about starting to pack up boxes and place them in the garage or storage unit?

3.) Clean: When you have out-of-town guests come to stay with you, do you clean beyond the ‘normal’ clean? I hope so! This is the amount of clean needed in your home on a regular basis. If you know you will have a showing of your home, clean the day before. The cleaning odors will be gone by the following day. Don’t give a buyer a reason to think your home is dirty.

4.) Bring in light: Open all windows treatments and makes sure windows are clean. Swap out heavier drapery for lighter weight fabrics.  For rooms that are too bright, use sheers that will diffuse light and cast a glow into your space.

5.) Unify your home with color: As you walk through your home, take note of the color schemes as you transition from room to room.  If the living room is blue, and the bedrooms are pink and green, you’re visually chopping up the house.  This will make it feel smaller and less unified.  Opt for more neutral tones – maybe a less saturated version of the blue, pink and green.  If you’re unsure on colors – use warm camel, beiges, grays and warm whites to unify and enlarge the rooms.

6) Appeal to their senses: Home buying is an emotional process, so appeal to their senses when staging your home. Soft music playing when perspective buyers enter your home is inviting and welcomed.  The smell of fresh baked cookies (make the night before and pop in microwave quickly before guests arrive) always warms up a buyer.  Soft throw blankets across a reading chair and soft hand towels in the bathrooms will appeal to their sense of touch and will add coziness to your home.

7.) Leave the house ready for an offer: This simply means every time you walk out the door your home should look like a buyer would want to make an offer on it, that day. Once your home is on the market, live as if a Realtor could call you any minute to show your home. This idea isn’t far from reality! Teach older kids about picking up after themselves during your home being on the market. Each member of the family will have to do less each day, if everyone helps keep it tidy and clean.

8.) Remove personalized belongings: Let your perspective buyers’ picture themselves in your home.  To do this, your personal family photographs, children’s artwork on the refrigerator, and collections should be removed.  Don’t give the buyer a chance to form an opinion of your home based on your taste and personalized belongings.  Let them savor your home for its characteristics and not your stuff!

9.) Be ready for evening showings of your home: With busy schedules, often times Realtors will show your home in the evening.  This means lighting needs to be inviting in each area of your home.  Walk through your home in the evening and see if there are dark, unlit spaces and address them with a table lamp, sconce, or overhead light source.

10.) Be positive: This is a ‘trick’ because with all the doom and gloom news about the housing market there is still a bright side. The bright side is the housing market is showing improvement and you are going to shine above the competition with your staging tricks.  Your confidence will show in your home and an offer will come sooner than you expect.

Home staging can be done by a professional or by you and your family. Whichever you choose, believe that this is a worthwhile investment of time, energy and/or money to sell your home.  Once you use these 10 tricks for staging your home, you will already be searching for your next home.

Update Your Bathroom For Under RM200

Shower Curtains
You would be surprised how changing something so simple can make a whole lot of difference. Depending on the colour or ambiance of the bathroom you can just pick a shade that stands out to create that dramatic alteration. Also use it with unique shower hooks.

Paint
Paint your bathroom with a fresh coat of paint. Rather than having your tiles decide the colour of your space, your choice of paints can also be very effective in creating the mood. For example, if your tiles are lime green, paint the walls with pale yellow or a deeper shade of green would work just as well. If your bathroom has black or white tiles, brighten it up with a coat of olive green or deep purple for more dimensions.

Go Green
Do not be afraid to add some plants in your bathroom. It can add warmth and life to a place. Flowers are also a fantastic way to breathe life into a boring bathroom. Try using a simple case with a bloom or two for a more lavish appeal.

Mirror
If you are using a basic mirror in the bathroom, you would probably want to jazz it up a notch or two. Choose a preferred trimming to fit around the mirror as a frame to paint it. However, if it already has a coat of paint – add some decorations of your choice to make the difference.

New Towels
Buy washcloths or hand towels in new colours that complement your existing palette. You can opt to roll them up and stuff them into transparent boxes or simply arranging them on your shelf. Try incorporating bold colours with simpler shades to create a ‘pop’ effect.

Accessories
Decorate your sink top with a selection of miniature soaps in a deep dish. Or you could consider arranging selected scented or unscented candles in your favorite colour on your shelf or next to the bathtub. Another tip would be that if you often travel and you find yourself overflowing with sample sized toiletries consider allocating a glass bowl for your guest.

Departure

Today, my best friend is leaving for her studies in UK.
Here, I wish that she will have a safe and wonderful trip.
Gosh, I already start missing her.

Thursday, September 9, 2010

It just made my day.

I was compiling and doing a summary report for the student evaluation feedback for last semester. Trust me. It is not exactly a happy job. You never know how irritated it is when you see comment like, "No offense. If I am the principal of the school, I will fire all the staff of XX Department", or comment like "Fees too expensive", or even "Sometimes they gave me wrong info causing me to repeat subjects for no reason. Feel disappointed & please ensure correct info given."

WTF. No offense? The fact that you stated this statement is already an offensive statement. The department is not there to serve you. We are human too. Who are you to say that you would hire the whole department if you are principal? What I can say is that I am glad that you are not the principal.

Fees too expensive? I thought you should already know before you sign up for the course? The fees structure are given when you enrolled. More so, you are not even paying the bills, your parents did.

What wrong information can they give that cause you to repeat? If it is wrong information, I am sure you can appeal to the management right? Unless it is a mistake that caused by yourself and all you dare to do is to complain anonymously in student evaluation form. Student, if you do not put efforts in your study, it is not the lecturers or admin staff problem okay?

Anyway, after seeing all these ridiculous comments, I saw one that really made my day and tell me how much I am being appreciated.

Kimmie from ID dept is the perfect secretary as she's responsible & handles the dept well.

Oh gosh! I am so so so touch when I see this. At least I know I am being appreciate by this student. And just simple statement, it has gave me more enthusiasm to carry on with the evaluation report. ^^

On My Own...

ID Week is coming next week. It is an annual event organized by Interior Design Department, TOA. Only 3 more days to go and I am feeling so nervous and unprepared. Unable to rest well at night, thinking of it all the time, yet, there are always seems to be something missing somewhere, there are always something that I missed out.

I have done so many different events, but this is the only time where I feel so helpless. I am totally on myself for EVERYTHING from the beginning until the end.

Of course I have people from other department helping by execute my planning. But, what if I missed out something? Exactly like what has happened this few days. I feel bad for making such mistakes. I feel bad for troubling other people. I feel horrible for not making the planning right. I feel pressure when my boss questions my decisions. I feel upset when I feel so weak.

I LOVE doing event, I really do. But, what motivate me to move on is actually the people.

When I was a student, my friends and committees were my motivation to move on. We shared the happiness and sadness. We cursed together. We "OT" together. We fought for our rights and benefits together. Although we argue, the process and end result always brought satisfaction and happiness.

When I was a DSA officer, students were my motivation to move on. Looking at them growing  from event to event, again brought my satisfaction to the max. We always tried our hardest to make an event the best. And I always tried hardest to ensure that students received appreciation for their contribution. Maybe some students hate me, but I know there are always some who love me.

An event is always our baby. We gave birth to it and nurture it with our heart. That's why it meant more than anything to us.

Now, I am doing event again. But, there is just no one there with me. Because, everybody are just merely doing their job. The event does not mean anything to them AT ALL.

I used to be very confident and proud of myself. Now, I don't anymore. Worst still, I start doubting my own capability. Maybe I just can't do anything right. Maybe I am just a lousy planner.

I know I shouldn't carry on like this. I know I should stand up and prove myself. But, I really can't do it now. I don't know what else I can do, that's why I beg for encouragements, hoping that it will help me to feel better. Or maybe I will just feel better after today. I really hope so.

Enjoy!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"Happy" Hour

Went to The Opera, Sunway Pyramid for Happy Hour with Renee and Candy yesterday. We were expecting it to be rather relaxing and comfortable. In any case, we are supposed to go for "Happy Hour" but not clubbing.

In my definition for "Happy Hour", I am expecting to have a good chilling session in a pub, enjoying nice music, and nice company, basically, a nice relax session after work!

Clearly, it ends out not so happy and not so chill and we literally have to run away from there. Yeap! Run away! I have not seen us in such a horrible state for ages!

As most of you would have known, Sunway is one the most lively night hub in KV. Why did we choose The Opera over all the other clubs in Sunway area?

#1 It is a newly open club.
#2 It has all kinds of different performance every day. For Thursday, which also is Ladies Night, there are circus performance, fire dance, slave dance and etc. And to be honest, for few that I saw last night, it was really good!
#3 Ladies night, so no cover charge!

To be honest, I am not so sure on the market price for alcoholic drinks. Our drinks yesterday were RM88 for 2 jug of Heineken (which we also didn't get to finish in the end!!! GARHH!)

Photo taken from http://planetaugsburg.wordpress.com/2008/09/

After the first performance, then the nightmare started!

Guys from this certain table start buying us drinks and approaching our tables, and they just NEVER stop! They just keep coming and coming! Worst thing is one of the guys actually went over the border and try to kiss my friend! Knowing new friends is one thing, but this was really too much and over the boundaries! WTF!

Guys, if we are literally pushing you away and are not attentive to what you are saying, just get hint and leave! You might be here to look for ONS, but we are not! Damn it! It was only 10pm! In the end, neither do we enjoy the after-work-break, nor do we concentrate on the show.

Guess that I will stay away from Opera for awhile for the time being. GARHH!

Office Politic

Brake

I fixed my car brake couple of months ago, and yet again it malfunctioned again.

In a way, maybe I was luckier this time round, at least the brake malfunctioned when I was already in the apartment car park and I did not (almost but didn't) bang anyone.

I really love my car but I also started to get irritated with it. There are just so many things to fix - brake light, car light, car horn, and now the brake also join the company.

I wonder how much it is going to cost this time. Haihz~ :(

ME on TV!!!!

TV Shooting will be up next week!!!

Oh well... I never really expected to see myself appearing in the TV, especially when I am neither in the entertainment industry nor I have any close friend who is currently in the entertainment industry. Even if I have, I doubt they will or they have the authority to simply put me up.

And now, in few weeks time, you will see my face at RTM2! (Precise date and time will be updated once confirmed)

I believe that a lot of you already know that I work for Eric Leong, one of the iconic celebrities in Malaysia. For those who don't know who he is, click here!

RTM is now launching their new programme, "ICON", which the TV crew and TV host will unveil what Malaysia iconic celebrity does during ordinary day. And, Eric Leong is invited!!

Next Wednesday, he will bring in RTM TV crew to The One Academy. They will follow him everywhere, including the class and of course to the office, filming that he is having discussion with me. ME!

Not that I am really fancy about becoming famous or what, but it still feel good to be able to go on TV, even if it is only for few minutes (or even few seconds). I mean... This is a one in a lifetime experience which will be really memorable.

Oh gosh! I am starting to get nervous and guess what? It is time for closet shopping again! I am sure that you wouldn't want to see me all mess up or dress horribly in the TV. As a professional working adult, I need to look professional. ^^

现代

想起小学时和邻居一起在沙堆“爬山”;
想起中秋节时和邻居一起建的“木屋”,甚至还不怕死在“木屋”里点满了蜡烛;
想起傍晚时和邻居一起玩masak-masak;
想起和邻居一起打弹珠的日子;
想起和邻居一起学骑脚车的日子;

Shopaholic

I have recently turned myself into a shopaholic, which is really bad. The amount of money that I have spend in the past week is close to RM2500. >_<

First, I have spend RM300 to cut + perm + colour + treatment for my hair. For those of you who have my fb account, I am sure that you have seen it, but anyhow here is one of them. ^^

On this coming Friday, I am still going to perm it and make it more fluff, so looking forward to see it!! ^^

Then, I brought a new Estee Lauder Cleanser.

Last Saturday, I have at One Utama with my cousin to purchase presents f0r her mother-in-law. After purchasing this really pleasant bag from Charles and Keith, we moved on to Estee Lauder to buy her mother-in-law a Serum.

Just randomly I decided to check the price of the cleanser, wanting to know how far more am I to purchase the product from Estee Lauder. I actually expected the cleanser to be hundred plus close to two hundreds. Never did I know that it is only RM95!! I always have the perception that Estee Lauder is like the super expensive brand.

If you are like me, already am using cleansing product like Bioterm, Clinique (which price also ranged from RM75 - RM100), might as well you just use Estee Lauder. My skin just feels so smooth after cleaning!

The best thing of all is that with our above RM350 purchase (My cousin's serum and my cleanser), it also entitled me the following FREE samples.

The smaller version of Nutritious Purifying 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser (15ml) - which I can use it when I go for gym or when I travel. (*^_^*)

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Radiance Essence (30ml)

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Gel Creme (45ml)

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Infusing Eye Gel (5ml)

Another word, I am only spending RM95 to get the whole range of product! Isn't that really good?!! Although it is sample packs, it actually can last really long, especially the moisturizer and eye gel, it can at least last me for months!! The texture is so fine and I can barely feel anything after applying it! In short, it is just simply awesome and I am now so in love with Estee Lauder!! You may consider trying it if you are interested.

Knowing that you won't be able to purchase up to RM350? No worries, here is another solution for you!

I was reading Cheesie's blog and she introduced this online shopping website that is called Best Buy World. It sells all the premium products (Cosmetics, Fragrances, Underwear, Bags, Accessories, Fitness, Gift Set) at 50% - 90% cheaper than the market price.

For cosmetics, no worries about it being genuine products, according to Chessie, she has checked and ensures that it is all genuine products. Go have a look at Best Buy World and you might find something that you like there. ^^

Good things are meant to share with friends. ^^

I have also purchased a pair of black stripe high hues from nose for RM73.90, which to me are also a good deal. As I am wearing high hues almost every day, having a good pair of shoes becoming absolutely important. And trust me, the pair of shoes that I get from shoes is superb!

Last but not least, I finally had gotten myself a new laptop, which costs RM2099. I am paying by installment, of course. After dividing to 12 months, I am paying roughly RM175 each month.

Confirmation

At last, I have received my confirmation letter. (*^_^*)

Reasons of my happiness:

1. Everything is finally confirmed in black and white.
2. Instead of six months, I was confirmed in my four and half months.
3. The proposed salary is approved too! I must say that the salary is much higher than what I would have expected when I first joined TOA.

Congratulations to me!! Yeah!!!

The below email was sent 10 minutes ago to Miss Joanne and cc to PIC of Customer Service Department, Sales & Marketing Department, Investor Relations Department, and also HQ.

I wished to cc to the Director of the company as well, so that he would know that this is the kind of service given by his staff.

No wonder that the reputation of LBS has been dropping like nobody business.

If he doesn't do anything, I do not think that his company will get anywhere further.

Not that I have anything against LBS previously, but sadly, now I do.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Joanne,

As spoken, we hope you will understand that it is very difficult for us to trace back the receipt for December rental especially that it has been FOUR months since we moved out from Bayu Puteri, B-17-11.

We hope you still remember that we did not received any official letter from LBS informing us that the house is selling and the last month rental will be contra, and thus we bank in the rental and I have email the receipt to you in Mid December. After speaking to you, I tried to trace back the receipt through the online banking account. Unfortunately, I couldn't do so as the transaction history is only kept up to 2 months.

Mind you that it will be very unreasonable for us to get back RM2420 instead of RM3820. Therefore, I hope that you can try to check with Account Department again on the payment. If Account Department also insists that we did not make our payment, we hope that evidence can be provided from LBS.

Despite everything above, please take note that my housemates and I are starting to lose our patience after continuously waiting for our deposit for more than FOUR months. It might be a small amount for your company, but it meant a lot to all of us. To be honest, it is overly
ridiculous for an established company like LBS to take more than FOUR months to disburse a cheque. And so, I wish that you can bank in the cheque of RM2420 to me by this week.

Otherwise, we are forced to bring both of these matters to the media and also to take legal action, based on our contract with LBS.

I hope you will take this seriously. Please call me if you need any further clarification.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Regards,

Kimmie @ Li Yun

Random

Sometimes I have illusion on how I would injure myself.
How I would fall down the stairs.
How I would sprain my ankles.
How I would trip and fall down.
How I would meet an accident.
How I would cut myself.
How I would bang myself to the wall.

Sometimes it came true, but more often than it did not.
I think I am blessed to have such illusion.
At least I will be extra careful when I walk.
At least I can try to minimize the injury.

I have sprained my ankle for so many times, until I am an expert for it.
I know the best way to minimize the damage.
I know how to angle my body so that I can minimize the damage.
I know how to balance my body so that I will not fall down ugly.

I do not know why I am writing this.
I just feel that I need to write something to ease my mind.
Confusion, anger, disappointment, burdened, joy; all kind of mixture feelings are bothering me.

Confusion: Everything around me has turned around. What has happened?

Anger: Everybody should be responsible to what they did. Running away will not solve anything. Threatening your poor parents definitely not the best solution.

Disappointment: If we have not communicated, we wouldn’t know how much things that you have lied to us. YOU told me that you will do it nicely, liar.

Burdened: I am sick of doing what I am forced to do. Responsibilities have started to pressure me. So much so that I do not know how to reject. Not that I ever master in it.

Joy: Finally I have received my early confirmation. It is one and half month in advance. Actual increment still pending for discussion tomorrow.

Wish me luck on everything! Speedy mental recovery, good increment and etc.

Yiruma

I just renewed almost all my songs in my blog to Yiruma’s songs (except the second song, it is “The Promise” by Secret Garden). His songs are so wonderful. Maybe it is because I always love piano, and so I found that almost all of his songs are able to touch my heart. For those of you who also love music, you may want to take a time off and enjoyed the music.

Here is some little facts on him, hope that it will help you to know a little bit more about him.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yiruma is a South Korean pianist and composer. He is well-known throughout the world, and his albums are sold all over Asia, as well as the United States and Europe. His best-known pieces are "River Flows in You", "Love Me" both of which appear on the album "First Love" (2001), and "Kiss the Rain" from the album "From the Yellow Room" (2003).

He lived in Osaka, Japan, for six years, and then entered the Republic of Korea Navy in July 2006 to begin his two-year military service, which is compulsory for all male South Koreans.

Known for his many albums, Yiruma has not only composed for himself, but for many musicals, films, and for the theatre. He began playing the piano at the age of five, and moved to London when he was 11, in 1988, to study at The Purcell School of Music.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If he is ever coming to Malaysia for his concert, just in case if I do not know about it, please inform me, I would really appreciate that. Now, who would like to sponsor me his album? XD

WTF

This is just an entry to release my anger on certain bastard. You may ignore it if you want.

I really hate assholes that are using sex as one of the break up excuses. Just because the girl refused to have sex with you in the past six years, and so you can be proud and sleep with other girls who can fulfilled your sexual needs. Oh please.

I do agree that sex can be important in a relationship, but it doesn’t mean that it is EVERYTHING. WTF do you mean when you will only give deadline until your birthday?! You think relationship is a business deal izzit? There is a deadline and if things are not done before the deadline then we will close the deal and leave. WTF.

You have no idea how heartbroken she is when she found out that you are out with other girls. And it is worse after she read your diary and reading you calling other people “baby”. And yet, you still firmly, calmly tell her that it is all her fault, it is her fault for not giving you what you want. What kind asshole are you?

Fine if you really need it so badly. Fine if you prefer to go for ONS. Fine if you have stopped loving her. Fine if you love someone else now. But can you stop playing with her emotion and tell her exactly what the current situation is. Rather than telling her that you still love her and yet you cannot together with her because you can foresee that there will be a lot of problems lying in front of you. Can you stop giving her false hope that she will be together with you again?! WTF.

And how dare you for telling her that you don’t mind together with her again but you will just be “playing” with her? Still love her huh.

Bastard.
